The central character in One flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest starring Jack Nicholson was also one of those people, who wants to break the routine and even began an uprising against the staff and Nurse Ratchett in particular, a movie mental institution. This is probably the best comedy and entertainment to serious drama. But this does not mean that the film is not full of some great emotional sequences. The tension between the patients and the staff becomes more significant and growing throughout the film, which eventually led to a wonderful ending that I'm not going spoil.Yes, Jack Nicholson is really wonderful to his duties and he seemed to be improvising all his lines and actions throughout the film. It 'really was an Oscar worthy performance, well received. Another Academy Award for his performance was Louise Fletcher, which I think is a bit 'too much credit. He plays his role well, but nothing more. He was not deeply impressed or anything.
